We really were not keen on this but agreed - basically because they offered a free product called The Lock Jaw (www.lockjawsecurity.com) that protects against "lock bumping", which we had never heard about. ADS even installed it for us, which took about 30 seconds because you can install it with double-stick tape. Again, we didn't buy the ADS system; however, I was impressed with their innovative marketing and sales approach. Have you heard of this "lock bumping" or "Lock Jaw Security".
